Annual Open Enrollment for the 2025/26 Plan Year

4/7/25 to 5/16/25

Any changes made during this Open Enrollment period will be effective 9/1/25 for Health and 1/1/26 for Dental & Vision.

All benefit-eligible employees – including those who are waiving benefits – are required to participate in Clovis Unified School District’s annual Open Enrollment & must complete their enrollment through the CUSD Open Enrollment Portal.

All voluntary benefits selections are completed through American Fidelity’s voluntary benefits enrollment portal. See below for more information.

CUSD Open Enrollment Portal

Required. For medical, dental, and vision changes.

Access the CUSD Portal

Launched in 2024, the in-house CUSD Open Enrollment Portal allows employees to:

  • Review their existing benefit coverage
  • Make changes to their benefit plans
  • Add / remove dependents
  • Upload required dependent verification documents
  • Obtain an enrollment summary confirmation

Employees can only access the CUSD Open Enrollment Portal on a District computer. Those who do not have access to a District computer can utilize loaner laptops located at their school sites OR attend one of the Open Labs hosted by the Benefits Department. See below for more information.

What benefits can you review and/or change using the CUSD Open Enrollment Portal?

 

Health Plan

The Health Plan offers Blue Shield Tandem PPO for eligible employees & covered dependents. Changes to the Health Plan are effective 9/1/2025.

Dental Plan

CUSD offers two Dental Plan options: Delta Premier (#6516) & Delta PPO (#6749). Changes to the Dental Plan are effective 1/1/2026.

Vision Plan

CUSD offers two Vision Plan options: Vision Base & Vision Buy Up (additional $6.84 per month). Changes to the Vision Plan are effective 1/1/2026.

American Fidelity Voluntary Benefits

Optional. For voluntary benefit changes and/or re-enrollment.

Participating in the American Fidelity Voluntary Benefits Open Enrollment is optional and not required by the District. Voluntary benefits can include but are not limited to:

  • Section 125 Flexible Spending Accounts
  • Accident plans
  • Cancer plans
  • Life insurance plans
