Steps to Follow


If Registering for the Loaner Program
If Purchasing a Non-Bundled Laptop

If Purchasing An AAAL Bundle:

Step #1 – Attend a Parent Information Night. Meetings are held each spring. A schedule for the 2010-11 school year will be posted online in early 2010.
Step #2 – Register for the CUSD AAAL Program (Registration Applications will be posted online in early 2010, with a late April deadline.)
Step #3 – Purchase an AAAL Bundle from www.LaptopSchools.com
Step #4 – Register for Laptop Summer Camp (Registration forms, dates and cost information will be available in Spring 2010.) 
Step #5 – Laptop Pickup and Orientation, first week of August
Step #6 – Attend Laptop Camp- in August each year (Highly Recommended) 
Step #7 – Wait for your teacher to tell you to bring your laptop to class

 

If Registering for the Loaner Program

Step #1 – Attend a Parent Information Night. Meetings are held each spring. A 2010 schedule will be posted online in early 2010.
Step #2 – Apply for the CUSD AAAL Program & Loaner Program (Registration forms, dates and cost information will be available in Spring 2010.)
Step #3 - Students will be notified if they are accepted into the Loaner program before late May.
Step #4 – Register for Laptop Summer Camp (Registration forms, dates and cost information will be available in Spring 2010.) 
Step #5 – Attend Laptop Camp- in August each year (Highly Recommended)  

Step #6 – Wait for your teacher to tell you to bring your laptop to class 

If Purchasing a Non-Bundled Laptop:

Step #3 – Check www.cusd.com/AAAL/specs.htm to be sure your computer meets the minimum requirements
Step #4 –Register for Laptop Summer Camp (Registration forms, dates and cost information will be available in Spring 2010.)

Step #5 - Schedule an appointment to have your computer configured to the CUSD network ($75 fee).    Appointments will start July 20th.  Please call 327-9595 for an appointment.
Step #6– Attend Laptop Camp- in August each year (Highly Recommended) 
Step #7– Wait for your teacher to tell you to bring your laptop to class
