iNotes (Web Access to e-mail)
Instructions for Setting Your Notes Internet Password
All staff members who have a Notes E-mail account, also have the capability to access their mail using iNotes from the Internet. In other words, wherever you can get to the Internet, you can get your E-mail.
You need to do three things to use iNotes:
1. Set your Notes Internet password.
The Notes Internet password is different from your regular Notes password. This is because the regular password is not stored on the Notes server, but is save on your local computer. This makes is impossible for iNotes to verify the password since the server does not know what your password is.
Therefore you need to set your Notes Internet password. You can and should set these two passwords to be the same, as long as you use a secure password.
2. Replace the design on your Notes database.
In order to take full advantage of all that iNotes has to offer, you need to replace the design of your Notes database. This is best done by the tech at your site. To schedule a time for the tech to do this for you, put in a request using the usual procedure at your site. You may also call the Tech Hotline at 79595 to make the request.
3. Access the URL for your E-mail account.

The above links will take you to the redirector software where you will enter your user name (the same as your name is on your regular Notes account) and your password. If done accurately, the redirector then links to your iNotes account.
