Opening Fall 2025 – Terry P. Bradley Educational Center
Clovis Unified School District held a groundbreaking ceremony in the fall of 2023l to mark the official start of construction of the Terry P. Bradley Educational Center that will be home to
Clovis South High School and
Phillip V. Sanchez Intermediate School.
Located in the southeast corner of the district at the Highland Avenue and the Clinton alignment, the educational center will ease current overcrowding at schools in that area and provide space for expected future student enrollment growth in the district. The Bradley Center will have some unique features among Clovis Unified schools, like putting its main support resources in one shared building – administration, nursing, library –that will serve both schools. It will also have the district’s first sunken football field and gymnasium.
“This is an exciting time in Clovis Unified as we mark the beginning of an entirely new school area anchored by this center,” said Clovis South Associate Superintendent Stephanie Hanks, Ed.D, who was named earlier this year as the new area’s superintendent.
TIMELINEThe Bradley Center is scheduled to begin a phased opening for grades 7-9 in the fall of 2025, with one new grade level added each year until completed. The phased opening ensures first-year Clovis South students will all begin as freshmen and not be coming from another high school, and together they will develop the new school’s traditions and culture.
