Clovis Unified School District offers Swim Lessons May – July (Can go into August in some years). These lessons are provided by High School students, college students, and some adult instructors. We follow a custom made curriculum that allows children to become more water safe and introduces swimming strokes for continued participation in aquatics if they choose to do so. A session is made up of 6 – 9 days of 30 minute swim lessons in groups of 3 – 4 students. 

The 2026 Registration for Seahorse Swim School opens in April. Our lessons have become very popular and fill up quickly. We will not be adding lessons unless we get a large group of instructors to apply to work for us. 

Private Swim Lessons are offered on days that we do not run our normal lesson classes. These lessons are available based on Instructors availability, as these are extra paid time for our instructors and not what we require of them. 

Our Lesson Sites are led by a Site Supervisor. They may be working with kids in the water, or observing from the deck. They provide time warnings to instructors and provide information to instructors and parents when needed. These are also our certified lifeguards on the deck.
