Clovis Unified School District offers Swim Lessons.These lessons are provided by High School students, college students, and some adult instructors.

Group Lessons

We follow a custom made curriculum that allows children to become more water safe and introduces swimming strokes for continued participation in aquatics if they choose to do so. A session is made up of 6 – 9 days of 30 minute swim lessons in groups of 3 – 5 students. 

Our Lesson Sites are led by a Site Supervisor. They may be working with kids in the water, or observing from the deck. They provide time warnings to instructors and provide information to instructors and parents when needed. These are also our certified lifeguards on the deck.

Private Lessons

Private Lessons can be requested on our Registration Site (Captyn). When requested, Instructors can claim the lesson and then will contact you to schedule a lesson. When requesting a Private Lesson, there is no guarantee that the lesson request will be claimed by an instructor. More flexibility in scheduling in the request will make the posting more attractive to be claimed by an instructor.

Continued Group Lessons after September 24th is being determined based on demand

Private Lessons

August 31 – November 22: Will be offered on days that we do not have Group Lessons and there is not a Water Polo Game scheduled. (As Instructors are available, Requesting a Private Lesson does not guarantee that the Private Lesson Request will be claimed by an instructor)
