Induction

The Clovis Teacher Induction Program (C-TiP) is accredited by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) to clear preliminary Multiple Subject, Single Subject, and Education Specialist credentials. The program is designed to provide a two-year, individualized, job-embedded system of mentoring, support, and professional learning that begins in the teacher's first contracted year of teaching. Foundational structures used to develop the teaching practices of our educators include: California Standards for the Teaching Profession (CSTP), Continuum of Teaching Practice, and California Academic Content Standards and Frameworks. Participating teachers develop individual learning plans and engage in plan, teach, reflect, apply cycles that are reinforced by the collaborative efforts of administration, mentors/instructional coaches, peers, and additional support staff.
