Information:

  • To identify all asthma students and other students that air quality may affect, please refer to the school nurse/confidential health list.
  • Each day the Fresno Bee publishes the previous day’s air quality measurement and the present day forecasted air quality. This information is included on the Weather Report page (Local/State Section).
  • Air Quality Forecast/Ratings information may be obtained at Valley Air
  • Air Quality Forecast/Ratings information may be obtained by calling 800.766.4463
  • It is suggested that during hot weather, the instructors should schedule activities in the morning.
  • During cold weather, early morning hours are the high-risk times for students with respiratory illnesses/diseases. It is suggested that during cold weather, instructors should schedule activities during the afternoon.
