Our Nursing Services Department is a resource in health and wellness areas for students, staff and families. The Nursing Services Team is comprised of credentialed School Nurses who have their RN and Public Health Nurse (PHN) certification, Health Services Assistants (HSA), Health Office Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN), Special Education Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN), Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (PNP) and Children’s Health Center Clerical Specialists.  Working together this team provides a link between health and education by promoting optimal health and learning in students, encouraging and supporting student and staff wellness, and collaborating with community agencies to increase the delivery of community based services to school students and staff.  As an important link in the Comprehensive School Health Program involving all departments, Nursing Services programs play an important role in general education, special education, care of illness and injuries, as well as student and staff wellness areas.  For assistance in all health and wellness areas please contact your credentialed School Nurse or your Health Office staff at your school site.
